Gallery 472: Midland Metro through the years |
This collection of photos shows Midland Metro from shortly after opening until the present day with most of the images taken in June and July 2014. We start off in 1999 with some views of the T69s in action and also have some images from 2011 with more T69s operating still in the original multi coloured liveried. Then we come to June and July 2014 and take a look at not only the present operating fleet (with three different liveries now visible) but also the construction work taking place in Birmingham City Centre as well as a few shots of the new CAF built Urbos3 trams at the depot. These photos have kindly been supplied by Bob Hodges who also produces high quality DVDs of various transport systems across Europe, you can find more details of these DVDs on his website.
