The heritage trams of the Blackpool Tramway took to the rails again over the late May Bank Holiday weekend with three days of operation. The highlight of the weekend was the launch into service of Pantograph 167 which had returned to Blackpool a few weeks previously for a short-term loan from the Crich Tramway Village arriving from Beamish where it had also enjoyed a loan period. As well as 167 - which was the only tram to see use on all three days - a further eight trams were in operation over the weekend and all nine of these trams feature heavily in this collection. The Flexity 2 trams, operating the main, service, are not ignored either with several of these included.
Photographs in this collection were taken by Gareth Prior.
