Gallery 452: Blackpool Heritage Trams at Starr Gate |
On Friday 11th April, an unprecedented nine heritage trams made the journey from Blackpool's Rigby Road depot to the modern Starr Gate depot complex, in anticipation of the following weekend's heritage service. Due to ongoing issues with the traffic signals at the Manchester Square road junction, it was necessary to transfer all of the trams required for use over the Easter weekend to Starr Gate so that they would be easily accessible. This gallery features all of the trams that were moved on this remarkable day, in glorious sunshine!
