Gallery 442: Blackpool Weekend at Beamish

Saturday 1st March 2014 saw a special themed day held at Beamish Museum, with four Blackpool trams in service. This low-key event was designed primarily to showcase the two visiting tramcars - Pantograph car 167 from Crich, and Railcoach 280 from Heaton Park - which ran throughout the weekend alongside the familiar residents Marton Box 31 and the Sunderland liveried Balloon car 101/703. All four trams feature in this gallery, along with a few bonus images of recent arrival Gateshead 52. All photos by Andrew Waddington.

Photographs in this collection were taken by Andrew Waddington & Ken Walker
