Twin Car 672+682 cause chaos on Illumination Night!
As a special bonus gallery we have a few views of what happened on the night of 6 September 2005 when Twin Car 672+682 broke down at Cliffs Hotel. Unfortunately as it was at approximately 9pm it was very dark and the shots are not the best, but you should get the general idea. Once the situation was sorted out there were 13 trams stuck behind it meaning the service was in complete ruins!

The driver of 680 prepares to push 672+682 to Cabin.
Following pushing the two trams are at Cabin as this view shows.
Surprisingly passengers were allowed to remain on board whilst this maneouvre took place. After arrival at Cabin they alighted to await the next tram - as did the crew of 672+682, who eventually went back to depot by bus to collect a replacement tram to continue working specials for the evening. The tram was driven back to depot by fitters via Little Bispham.
