Vintage Trams
Although some of the trams in this fleet are younger than those in the main fleet there isn't a better way to describe them than vintage. Of this fleet Sheffield 513 and Stockport 5 have seen next to no use this year, although apparently are not strictly "mothballed". Blackpool and Fleetwood Box 40 is out of service with a motor defect and was not seen in service during the week however Standard 147, Coronation 660 and Bolton 66 were all in use - at the weekends.

Standard 147. Running Promenade Specials on 10 September 2005 and captured at Manchester Square.
Coronation 660. Back in service following its mini overhaul and now without its distinctive mouldings on the end dash, it is seen here at North Pier on 10 September 2005.
Bolton 66. About to start a day on specials on 10 September 2005 seen waiting at the Lytham Road traffic lights.
