Boat Cars
For a class of trams that were completely "mothballed" at the end of 2004, the Boats have had a remarkable season. Of the five remaining in Blackpool only 607 remains stored with the others having made regaular appearances on Promenade specials. During the week I was in Blackpool this year 602, 604 and 605 all made weekend appearances and 605 was also used on evening specials on Tuesday 6 September. 600 was not used but early in the week was noted as being in the Electrical Compound.

Boat 602. Retaining the Yellow & Black "Handybus" livery the tram is seen at Cabin on 3 September 2005 whilst the trolley is turned for its next journey.
Boat 604. The tram is seen at Pleasure Beach on 4 September 2005 - this is the only operational tram in the fleet which has the final green and cream fleet livery.
Boat 605. Carrying the Wartime Green & Cream livery style the tram is captured at Cabin on 4 September 2005.
