The Middleton Railway's Festival of Transport, held over the August Bank Holiday weekend, featured the preservation debut of Leeds horse tramcar 107 in passenger service. The tram - which has been superbly restored over the last seven years by members of the Leeds Transport Historical Society at a cost of around £45,000 - operated with passengers for the first time in more than a century on Sunday 25th August, and then again the following day before it departed for a new home at Crich Tramway Village. This gallery features images from Monday 26th August showing the horse car in operation, as well as offering a small taste of the other attractions on offer and then we see the tram being delivered to its new home of the Crich Tramway Village the following day.
