Gallery 302: Blackpool Brush 236 Launch & Beside the Seaside Launch at Crich June 2012

The second big tram launch at Crich for 2012 happened on Sunday 3rd June when Blackpool Boat 236 entered service for the first time since entering preservation. Unfortunately the launch day was met with wet weather but despite that 236 was out and about for most of the day proving to be very popular with those who had made the effort to attend the launch. Other Blackpool trams were also in service including some very rare passenger journeys for the Blackpool Electric Locomotive. Also taking place on Sunday 3rd and Monday 4th June was the family orientated "Beside the Seaside" event which saw many seaside related event happening alongside the usual tram rides. This gallery features images from both days of the event including the launch day itself and shows many of the trams in service over the two days.
