Gallery 291: Manchester Metrolink 2012

It always seems to be that when I go to Manchester, Metrolink is that something extra I do on top of a visit to Heaton Park for example and unfortunately this collection of photos is no different. In this gallery there are photos mainly taken in and around the City Centre on two different days in April when the weather was not exactly being kind to the photographer. The first day was combined with a visit to Heaton Park (photos from this visit can be seen in Gallery 292) and includes photos not only in the City Centre but also at St Werburgh's Road on the South Manchester Line whilst there are also photos from a brief layover in the City between trains on Wednesday 11th April. I had hoped to get plenty of photos of the T68s in service before they are withdrawn from service but there seems to be a definite yellow bias with mainly M5000s seen in service and unfortunately I didn't manage to get any shots of those T68s which are on the initial list to be withdrawn.
