644 operated all year in this bizarre half advert/half plain yellow livery. This tram also disappeared for a lengthy period before returning to traffic part way through the illuminations season, but its return was a lot more successful than 643’s although the tram did become quite infamous for a loud growling motor at one end! Here the tram is seen reversing at North Pier on one of its last days in service, shortly before withdrawal on November 6th. This car has since moved to the premises of its advertiser, Farmer Parr’s Animal World at Broadwater.
