Gallery 283: Blackpool Trams - The Operating Fleet 2011

The other Jubilee car, 762, was the more regularly used of the duo and it started the season with a striking new all-over advert for Nickelodeon Land, a new attraction at the Pleasure Beach. The design features popular children’s characters such as Dora the Explorer and Spongebob Squarepants, but unfortunately its name ‘Stuart L Pillar’ was covered up by the new vinyls. After another busy season, 762 ran in Blackpool for the final time on the evening of November 6th, heading to a new home at Crich Tramway Village just a few days later, where it is surprisingly expected to give further service in this garish livery!

British Trams Online is an enthusiast run website for enthusiasts. It should be able to be viewed at all screen resolutions but I do advise you that it is probably best at 1024x768. The site is owned, maintained (and in the main written) by Gareth Prior. Any comments or suggestions please email.
