The last of the modified Balloons to re-enter service so far has been car 724, which spent much of 2011 in the works, having to wait until 6th September for its year debut – and even then it proved to be very unreliable, even breaking down on its first day back in service! Its last day out in 2011 was 6th November and here it is seen pausing at North Pier as dusk falls. The tram retains its dark blue advert for the Lyndene Hotel, who didn’t get much exposure from this advertisement last year.
