This is the fourth of five photo collections from the last few days of traditional tramway operation in Blackpool before the full Supertram upgrade is introduced at Easter 2012. In this gallery are images from the penultimate day of operation, Saturday 5th November when once again the daytime service was single deck operated with double deckers replacing them for the evening. Daytime service cars were Brush Car 632, Centenary Cars 642, 644, 645, 646, 647 and 648 and Balloon 723 with Balloon 707 also out operating on specials plus a daytime enthusiasts tour utilised Boat 600 and Balloon 717. Mid afternoon the Lancastrian Transport Trust tour started using Standard 147 and Balloon 715. Evening trams were Centenary Cars 642, 647 and 648, Balloon Cars 707, 709, 713, 718, 719 and 723 (although being retained this tram is only likely to be a spare and so this brief use during the evening is likely to be its last) and Jubilee Cars 761 and 762 (last use before preservation). As ever the three Illuminated Trams were out on tour duty during the evening.
