Gallery 262: Crich Tramway Village Enthusiasts' Tram Event & Beside the Seaside May 2011
The late May Bank Holiday saw a double event take place at the Crich Tramway Village with the Enthusiasts' Tram Event on Sunday 29th May whilst Beside the Seaside took place on both Sunday 29th and Monday 30th May and this gallery features photos of the trams from both days. The highlights of the Enthusiasts' Tram Event included the launch of Blackpool Toastrack 166 back into service following overhaul and the display of withdrawn trams on the Depot fan with Grimsby & Immingham 14, Gateshead 5 and Sheffield 510 amongst those lined-up. On the Monday - a very wet day - a healthy selection of trams in service was provided although Blackpool Pantograph 167 did fail during the morning. Photos in this gallery are provided in chronological order. Photographs in this Gallery were taken by Gareth Prior on 29th & 30th May 2011.
