Gallery 240: Blackpool 125 - Saturday 25th September 2010

The third day of the Blackpool 125 celebrations saw vintage trams on service during the day - including Boat 600's return to service after major overhaul, Marton Box 31, Box 40 and Standard 147 with Stockport 5 and Sheffield 513 joining in later in the day - as well as an evening tour which should have featured Rack 2, Marton Box 31 and Standard 147 (although in the event 2 only made it as far as North Pier and was replaced by Bolton 66 at Pleasure Beach). Normal specials were also out in force including three unrefurbished Balloons and at one stage all four operational Twin Cars were out and about. The day was also notable for the huge volume of people around the tramway. All photos are provided in chronological order.
