Gallery 200: Behind the Scenes at Rigby Road Depot September 2009
Concluding the 2009 "Week in Blackpool" Photo Galleries we have an extra special set of photos from behind the scenes at Rigby Road Depot. These photos include images in the Body Shop and Electrical Compound and also feature photos of trams in the mothballed fleet and which have not been seen on British Trams Online for a long time. Please note these photos were taken during an officially arranged tour with Blackpool Transport and we were guided round the Depot confines by Bryan Lindop. On no account should you ever trespass on Blackpool Transport property around the Depot "just to get a photo you want" - there are clear notices at the perimeter of the Depot telling you where you can go. Huge thanks to Andrew Waddington for arranging the tour with Blackpool Transport and for Bryan Lindop in showing us around. To access the photos click on the relevant thumbnail and you can then either navigate from there or return to this page and click on your next one!

All Photographs in this Gallery were taken by Gareth Prior on 9th September 2009.

British Trams Online is an enthusiast run website for enthusiasts. It should be able to be viewed at all screen resolutions but I do advise you that it is probably best at 1024x768. The site is owned, maintained (and in the main written) by Gareth Prior. Any comments or suggestions please email.
