Sunday 6th September 2009 was the last day of trams to operate between Pleasure Beach and Starr Gate before closure to allow work to commence on the tramway upgrade. This gallery features shots from the day with all the service trams to operate through to Starr Gate featured along with shots from the Tramways Monthly/British Trams Online "So Long Starr Gate" tour using Standard 147.
