Gallery 183: Totally Transport Weekend June 2009

The fifth annual Totally Transport event took place on New South Promedade, Blackpool on Sunday 28th June 2009. The main tram highlights of the day saw a six tram special service between Starr Gate and Tower/North Pier involving Blackpool Standard 147, Blackpool Coronation 304, Blackpool Boat 600, Blackpool Replica Vanguard 619, Bolton 66 and Sheffield 513. In addition two tours running to Little Bispham and Starr Gate using newly restored Blackpool Illuminated Western Train 733+734 were operated and there were also other non-tram related events. This gallery features photos of the "stars" of the day, some general tram images from the day and also photos from the previous day when the highlight was a full system tour involving Blackpool Coronation 304.
