Crich Starlight Halloween October 2008
Tony Waddington captured some atmospheric shots of trams in the dark at the annual 'Starlight Halloween' event at Crich Tramway Village. This excellent event was very well attended, so much so that trams were often running with full standing loads in the evening! The main service cars for the night running were Glasgow 22, Leeds 345, Leeds 399 and Glasgow 812. As an added bonus, both Oporto 273 and London Transport 1622 were used on short workings to convey visitors from Town End to Wakebridge, where they could enjoy a spooky walk back through the woods. All of these trams - plus a few others - are included in this gallery. You can navigate between the photos by using the links at either the top of the page (just above this box) or at the bottom of the page "Next Page of Photos" or "Previous Page of Photos"). As always please enjoy the photos.

Another scene at Wakebridge. Leeds 345 is loading passengers for Town End, whilst London Transport 1622 prepares to return behind it.
Another view of 345 and 1622 together at Wakebridge.
One last view of LT 1622, and this time the tram is seen reversing for the return journey to Town End.
