East Anglian Transport Museum August 2008
The photos in this gallery were all taken by Tony Waddington on a visit to the East Anglia Transport Museum on Saturday 16th August 2008. In addition to the two trams operating on this day, the pictures illustrate the rest of the tramcar fleet, including Lowestoft 14 under restoration. The most recent major project has been completion of the 'back road' project which enables the museum's trolleybuses to operate in a complete circle, and the ageing cafe is to receive major attention over the coming winter. Despite this, a good amount of work has been carried out on all of the trams recently, and the effort that has been put into keeping the fleet in good condition certainly shows. All support is greatly appreciated, and visitors are always sure of a warm welcome whenever the museum is open. Blackpool Standard car 159 is seen coming through the very attractive woodland section of the museum tramway.

Finally, another wooded view: this time of Blackpool 11. This tram has received considerable modifications to its complex electrical equipment recently, which has drastically improved the reliablity of the car.
