East Anglian Transport Museum August 2008
The photos in this gallery were all taken by Tony Waddington on a visit to the East Anglia Transport Museum on Saturday 16th August 2008. In addition to the two trams operating on this day, the pictures illustrate the rest of the tramcar fleet, including Lowestoft 14 under restoration. The most recent major project has been completion of the 'back road' project which enables the museum's trolleybuses to operate in a complete circle, and the ageing cafe is to receive major attention over the coming winter. Despite this, a good amount of work has been carried out on all of the trams recently, and the effort that has been put into keeping the fleet in good condition certainly shows. All support is greatly appreciated, and visitors are always sure of a warm welcome whenever the museum is open. You can navigate between the photos by using the links at either the top of the page (just above this box) or at the bottom of the page "Next Page of Photos" or "Previous Page of Photos"). As always please enjoy the photos.

This Lowestoft single deck car remains in use as a small exhibition building, and can be seen close to the tram terminus. The bodywork has survived in quite good condition thanks to the fitting of a tiled roof!
