Blackpool Double Deckers 2008
16 pages and 36 photos follow with the double-decker tans of the Blackpool & Fleetwood Tramway fleet as seen in service between 30th August and 6th September 2008. The majority of these are of course the Balloon Cars with 17 different trams of this class making apperances during the week, including 724 which is meant to be in the "Reserve Fleet", in addition the two Jubilee Cars were also out and about. Possibly the star tram in Blackpool of 2008 is recently restored Balloon 717. Our first view of the tram is at Foxhall Square on 31st August 2008.
717 had only been fitted with a pantograph a few days previously when it was seen running out of service at Buspham on 1st September 2008.
