Croydon Tramlink August 2008

2541 turning from Church Street onto Tamwerth Road en route to Beckenham Junction on route 2
2542 at Centrale en route to New Addington on route 3
2543 has reversed on the single track in the background and is taking up a short working to New Addington on route 3 at Phipps Bridge, tram services on the Wimbledon line on this day disrupted between Phipps Bridge and Morden Road by a tree blown across the track by high winds in what is supposed to be summertime! Trams were running from Morden Road to Wimbledon but passengers from the Croydon direction were advised to change to a number 200 bus at Phipps Bridge to complete their journeys. Likewise, passengers from Wimbledon to Croydon and beyond were advised to use this bus as well.
