Docklands Light Railway May 2008
What better excuse than to go out with your camera with the glorious weather we experienced at the start of May 2008? That is exactly what British Trams Online regular contributor David Bosher thought as he visited the Docklands Light Railway on 7th May 2008. 24 photos follow on the next eight pages from across the DLR network including the Stratford branch and the central area around the Quays. Unit 03 leaving West India Quay and approaching Canary Wharf. Because of the curves at the north end of West India Quay station, the platforms will have to be lengthened southwards to take the promised three car units so that it will practically join up to Canary Wharf station!
