Launch of Manchester Horse Tramcar L53
A comprehensive gallery of photos from the official public launch of Manchester Eades Reversible Horse Tramcar L53 on Sunday 30th March 2008. Also included is a selection of images from the Manchester Museum of Transport. Three photographers have supplied photos for this gallery - Andrew Hazlehurst, Steve Kemp and Tony Waddington - huge thanks to all three. As usual you can access the different pages of the gallery through links at both the top and bottom of the page. Enjoy!

A scene that may never be repeated - L53 at its teminal point, which was roughly twice as far as it would normally go.

The star of the show: Murdoch the horse with the ladies from Bradford Industrial Musuem. Without their hard work, such a superb event would simply not have been possible.

The moment everyone was waiting for - L53 seen being turned by Murdoch (with a little bit of human help!)!
