Croydon Tramlink November 2007
Regular British Trams Online contributor David Bosher has been out and about agan, this time visiting the Croydon Tramlink system, and in particular the Wimbledon branch. All photos were taken on 24th November 2007 and feature locations such as Ampere Way, Beddington Lane, Belgrave Walk, Centrale, Dundonald Road, Mitcham, Mitcham Junction, Morden Road, Reeves Corner, Therapia Lane, Waddon Marsh, Wandle Park and Wimbledon. 2544 arriving at Ampere Way en route to Wimbledon on route 3
2545 approaching Therapia Lane en route to Wimbledon on route 3. Croydon Tramlink's depot is just to the west, the original heavy rail line being diverted slightly to accommodate this.
2545 at Centrale, the latest stop to be added to the system, opened on Tamworth Road in December 2005 and named after the adjacent shopping centre.
