L&CBER Replica 7 Hauled Centenary Run October 2007
The culmination of years of planning by the Llandudno & Colwyn Bay Tramway Society was the hauled run of their replica tram 7 over the former tramway linking the two towns along with Rhos-on-Sea on Saturday 20th October 2007 - this being 100 years (and a day!) since the tramway originally opened. The day was a huge success and the run took a lot longer than expected with the crowds wanting more - this even included BBC Wales (who ran a photo feature here - captions are in Welsh). What now follows over the next two pages are six images from the day from the L&CBTS Webmaster John Bird. Further images are available on their website here. As ever you can access the photos by using the links at either the top or bottom of the page.

Before the hauled run took place a shot from the top deck of 7 looking back along Gloddaeth Avenue from West Shore.
Moving on now once the hauled run has commenced and unfortunately the through route across Bodafon Fields is no longer available, so a diversion was made along Nant-y-Gamar Road to the Promenade as far as Bryn-y-Bia Road.
