MANCHESTER METROLINK NEWS UPDATE
Manchester Metrolink – Sunday 15th February 2009

A brief round-up of news on the trams of Manchester Metrolink including new larger fleet numbers on the dash panels and a revised livery for 1007.

The fleet numbers carried on the dash panels are being replaced with larger bolder numbers. So far at least half of the Series 1 trams have been dealt with and include 1011 which did not previously carry these numbers. In addition 1020 does not have the “A” and “B” because of the Lancashire Fusilier crests and so just feature the number with the crest in the centre.

1007 has now received the turquoise band above the windows and also has the larger fleet numbers on the end dashes.

British Trams Online is an enthusiast run website for enthusiasts. It should be able to be viewed at all screen resolutions but I do advise you that it is probably best at 1024x768. The site is owned, maintained (and in the main written) by Gareth Prior. Any comments or suggestions please email.
