At the Pleasure Beach track is now on the trackbed from South Pier to the north points, but is not yet fixed. The new loop points of the southbound track and diamond across the northbound track is in place. The inner loop will only be accessible from the outer loop once this work has been completed.

At Manchester Square the crossover is being lifted and the surrounding track is also being removed. Meanwhile, the concrete base is being worked upon between Foxhall Square and Central Pier.

Work has started at the north end of the loop at Cabin and track is down from Cliffs Hotel to Cabin whilst at Bispham the north end of its loop has been lifted along with the track to just north of Leyburn Avenue.

Work has been concentrating on the southbound line at Little Bispham where the Council’s own track gang are involved in the work. On the northbound track the section where the loop diamond goes in has now been lifted.
