BLACKPOOL BALLOON 711 RECEIVES NEW LIVERY The first paint shop attention of the winter in Blackpool has now commenced with Balloon sisters 711 and 717 seeing work.
Balloon 711 has become the first tram in Blackpool this winter to receive paint shop attention, being released in a revised Line 14 Metro style – dark green and yellow, the colours carried by Brush 636. It retains the lower deck Metro style but the upper deck line livery is restricted to the roof with a sweep down over the end windows, effectively matching the yellow sweep on the lower deck. The yellow of the livery is largely untouched from its touch up earlier in the year.
Balloon 717 has now moved into the Paint Shop where it is to receive the 1935 Green and Cream livery.
