A SUCCESSFUL TRAM SUNDAY
Blackpool & Fleetwood Tramway – Sunday 17th August 2008

If you cast your mind back to mid-July you may remember the annual Tram Sunday event took place in Fleetwood. Now, finally (and its totally my fault! - GP), we have some images from the day from the camera of Shaun C. Photos of renamed Boat 600 and recently restored Balloon 717 feature.

600 seen arriving at Ash Street, Fleetwood whilst being one of the trams operating the Ash Street-North Pier tram shuttle.

717 at Little Bispham. This tram was also operating the North Pier-Ash Street shuttle along with Standard 147 and Coronation 660 (replaced by Boat 602). In addition Frigate 736, Trawler 737 and Balloon 706 Princess Alice were stabled at Ash Street most of the day.

British Trams Online is an enthusiast run website for enthusiasts. It should be able to be viewed at all screen resolutions but I do advise you that it is probably best at 1024x768. The site is owned, maintained (and in the main written) by Gareth Prior. Any comments or suggestions please email.
