FARES TO RISE ON NET
Nottingham Express Transit – Sunday 27th April 2008

Nottingham Express Transit have announced that after “above-inflation increases in operating costs” fares will be revised from Monday 28th April. Adult tickets will rise but those for children will remain static as they attempt to encourage young people to use the tram.

Adult Fares:
* Peak Single (before 0930 weekdays) - £2.50 (up from £2.30) * Off-Peak Single - £1.50 (up from £1.40)
* All-Day Tram Rider - £2.70 (up from £2.50)
* All-Week Tram Rider - £12 (up from £11)

Child Fares:
* Single - £1 (unchanged)
* All-Week - £7 (unchanged

Group Fares:
* Group Tram Rider - £5.50 (up from £5)

Pay Point Fares (Pre-Purchase from local retailers):
* Adult 7 Tram Days - £10.80 (up from £9)
* Adult 30 Tram Days - £31.50 (up from £30)
* Adult 90 Tram Days – £90 (up from £85)
* Adult 10 Single Trips - £13 (up from £10)
* Child 7 Tram Days - £6 (unchanged)
* Child 10 Single Trips - £9 (unchanged)
* Student 11 Weeks - £72.50 (up from £69)
