FORTHCOMING ENGINEERING WORKS ON THE DLR
Docklands Light Railway – Sunday 6th April 2008

As it is the first update of the month we have our regular look at the forthcoming engineering works on the Docklands Light Railway, in connection with the infrastructure upgrade for three car trains. Read on for more details and also for some photos of progress at King George V for the Woolwich extension.

Saturday 19th & Sunday 20th April
With the exception of Mudchute to Lewisham all DLR services will be suspended. This is to enable three carriage trains to operate from early 2010. Replacement buses will be in operation.

Saturday 3rd & Sunday 4th May
Services will be suspended between Bank/Tower Gateway and West India Quay, Beckton, King George V. Replacement bus services will be in operation.

Saturday 17th & Sunday 18th May
Services will be suspended between Stratford and Canary Wharf. Replacement buses will be in operation.

Saturday 24th to Monday 26th May
Services will be suspended between Bank/Tower Gateway and Poplar/Canary Wharf. Replacement buses will be in operation.
