FULL BLACKPOOL REOPENING CONFIRMED AS 26TH APRIL Blackpool Transport have confirmed that the tramway will reopen between Cabin and Fleetwood on Saturday 26th April, following the completion of all track and related infrastructure work on this stretch. The news has been met with pleasure by businesses at the northern end of the tramway.
Julian Brent, manager of Fleetwood Market, said: “This is great news for the town and its traders. We have not been as badly hit as we thought but lots of people come to Fleetwood on the trams and when they are out of action people tend to stay away."
The full timetable has not been revealed but a normal 20 minute service to Fleetwood and 20 minute service to Cleveleys will run (making a 10 minute frequency Pleasure Beach-Cleveleys). As previously revealed trams will not run early morning with the adjacent Line 1 bus service making these journeys. First trams will be from 0800 approximately. When the final timetable is officially announced British Trams Online will feature the news.

| British Trams Online is an enthusiast run website for enthusiasts. It should be able to be viewed at all screen resolutions but I do advise you that it is probably best at 1024x768. The site is owned, maintained (and in the main written) by Gareth Prior. Any comments or suggestions please email. |
