TRACKWORK CONTINUES IN BLACKPOOL With the Easter period now out of the way – although many schools in the UK will now take their spring holidays because of the very early Easter in 2008 – more work is being undertaken on the track.
At Little Bispham the old loop has been lifted and concrete poured at the entrances – the north spur is being removed as already revealed. Elsewhere, finishing touches are being applied to the track north of Cabin including the removal of the loop at Norbreck, which has been deemed surplus like so much other track. At Bispham surfacing work is being undertaken as one final effort is made to reopen the full tramway.

| British Trams Online is an enthusiast run website for enthusiasts. It should be able to be viewed at all screen resolutions but I do advise you that it is probably best at 1024x768. The site is owned, maintained (and in the main written) by Gareth Prior. Any comments or suggestions please email. |
