713 BACK IN SERVICE IN NEW LIVERY AS MORE TO FOLLOW
Blackpool & Fleetwood Tramway – Sunday 6th April 2008

Blackpool Balloon 713 returned to service on Friday 4th April in its new livery which is the Line 7 Purple and Yellow Metro Coastlines style. Following on from 711 this is the slightly revised style.

Other repaint news sees fellow Balloon 715 now in the Line 16 Light Blue and Yellow livery whilst Centenary 647 has been removed from service for a coat of all over yellow after the expiration of its advertising contract (unfortunately it seems single deckers will remain in plain colours “waiting” for new contracts).

Balloon 713 is seen here on its first day back in service after repainting in the Purple and Yellow Metro Coastlines livery . This is the first time since the tram returned to service after its major overhaul that the tram has not had a white based livery. The location is Cabin and the date is 4th April 2008.

British Trams Online is an enthusiast run website for enthusiasts. It should be able to be viewed at all screen resolutions but I do advise you that it is probably best at 1024x768. The site is owned, maintained (and in the main written) by Gareth Prior. Any comments or suggestions please email.
